The Triple Bypass is renowned as one of the premier rides for those looking for a high altitude challenge with heaps of vertical gain. The official event is held annually in Early July but you can certainly ride it any time on your own. Just be ready to tackle Squaw (11,140), Loveland (11,990) and Vail Passes (10,666) before coasting the last 20 miles downhill to Venture Sports in Avon.
The logistical challenges of getting a car to and from the start in Evergreen can be a real pain so if you have a group wanting a shuttle to the start, please let us know as we may just use it as an excuse to go ride it with you. And for those of you wanting to do the official ride, check out
