If you are looking for the most climbing bang for your buck then look no further: This road bike ride from Avon to Strawberry Park, down the back side of Bachelor Gulch, back into Avon, then up Mountain Star, bonus climb up into Wildridge for a quick neighborhood loop, then back down into Avon is just the ticket. With very little traffic on any of the climbs, this is a road biker’s dream.
The best part is you can stop for refreshments or refueling in Avon going either direction. Definitely do not miss the doughnuts at Northside for an end-of-ride treat!
