Our Avon Location | Venture In Motion

Welcome to our Downtown Avon Location. We have been operating our ski and bike shop in Avon since 1994!

The engine is always running at Venture Sports in Avon

Open 365 days a year we are one of the few Ski and Bike shops in the valley that doesn’t take any downtime in the off-season. We can’t afford to! Our services are in high demand by our community and we like to make ourselves available as much as humanly possible.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

Ski and snowboard shop in the winter and bike shop in the summer

Our team loves to ski when the snow is falling…. Maybe as much as they love tires out on trails or road.

But what really keeps us coming back everyday is the never-ending process of trying to provide the best possible service to the people we call friends, neighbors, riding partners, and our extended Vail Valley community.

Aligned with our values as a business we stick with brands that stand behind their products.

Yeti, Giant, and Pinarello are incredible partners and we like to think the ride quality between the three speaks for itself.

In the winter we only carry the industry leaders in quality and craftsmanship

Head, Salomon, K2, Blizzard, Kastle, Nordica, Rossignol, Volkl, and Elan - these brands need no introduction.

Most companies like to preach their culture, but we live it every day.

Our team is a family. We work hard and play harder together. It's one of our core values to take time out and go on adventures where we share our love of the outdoors and the sports we find joy in.

We never want to miss an opportunity to thank our wonderful community for supporting us and giving us purpose. We are so grateful to be a part of this special place. With love and appreciation, we thank you.

Meet The Manager
Zach Cole

I love bikes. I ride road, mountain bikes, and gravel. I used to be a snowboarder… but I’ve grown up now. I ski. Fun fact: I’ve watched the sunrise ice climbing at 23,000 ft on Peru’s tallest peaks, shared sardines on El Cap with my two climbing partners who didn’t speak English, and mountain biked through multiple lightening storms over 12 days while biking the Colorado Trail.
