Roundup River Ranch is an exceptional place here in the Vail valley that offers old-fashioned, pure fun camp experiences for children with serious illnesses and their families. Located on a beautiful Colorado ranch with activities all year the Ranch offers campers and families the chance to enjoy the most extraordinarily ordinary joys of childhood together. Giving children a chance to take a break from being a “patient” and play in the mountains with the security of know that a full medical, physical and emotional support staff of healthcare professionals are on hand. Parents get the opportunity to enjoy the healing power of laughter and share with their children as they create new friendships and shared experiences not always so easily available.

Roundup River Ranch is free of charge for all kids and their families, to make this happen the camp relies on the generous support of local communities and supporters. One of the largest events of the year is held in August on the ranch in Gypsum. “A Grateful Harvest” is a chance to dine on gourmet cuisine from renowned chefs, paired with excellent wines and surrounded by the stunning views of the camp. A chance to take in the sounds of campers performing while making new friends and sharing quality time with old ones.
