This is one of our favorite moderate rides for several reasons.
 
It packs a punch by climbing over 2500 feet in just over 30 miles.  Once you leave Venture Sports you get a nice 10-mile warmup while losing 500 feet in elevation.  Then when you turn left in Wolcott get ready for 5 miles and 2000 feet of up.  Meaning it averages 7.5%.  Then there is the view – Make sure you have your phone to take stunning pics of the Vail Valley and the Gore Range.  

Our favorite part is the nonexistent traffic on the climb and the descent.
 
This is a staff and local favorite for after-work rides.  Bragging rights are certainly thrown around the shop so please let us know how you did.
