Everyone is encouraged so stay at home as much as possible but restrictions are now lifted on connecting with friends, loved ones and neighbors. While you are still encouraged to do so virtually when possible. It is still highly recommended to practice good hygiene at this time, including washing your hands thoroughly and frequently and not touching your face. According to state guidelines wearing a face mask when you leave home is also still recommended and required in some areas.

Part of the Level 2 guidelines includes the “Vast, Great Outdoors” and here in Vail, Colorado we are blessed with this in abundance. Research is showing that the threat of the spread of COVID-19 could be less outdoors. We do know that the most common way for the new coronavirus to spread is when an infected person sneezes talks or coughs and droplets from then enter your nose or mouth and are inhaled into the lungs. In open air coronavirus particles tend to disperse more quickly than they do outside. So, while gatherings for concerts and events where people are in close contact are still not allowed, exercising and playing in the mountains where social distancing can be practiced is!

If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at the location of your choice. We are still offering bike rental delivery if you would prefer not to come into one of the shops. And of course we did get stocked up with the highest quality mountain bike rentals from Yeti and Giant and road bike rentals from Pinarello and Giant as well!
